I am obsessed with these custom address stamps from Etsy shop NoteTrunk.
They’re gorgeous.
Get a clean cut look for business correspondence, or a more flowery version for personal letters. A custom stamp would also be an amazing gift for a newly married couple, for your parents, friends… anyone, really.
The prices are extremely reasonable as well — just over $20 for a custom stamp.

A reader asked:
My boss is getting married (it’s her second marriage) and moving into her first house with three of her kids and one of his. The wedding is low-key (just family), but I want to get her a wedding gift. What would be appropriate? I was thinking something for her new house, but don’t know what.

I have to admit it, I love gadget shops that offer surprising and beautiful versions of ordinary objects. Along those lines, I found some fun and useful office accessories to fabulize your workspace. Nab some of these, and you’ll definitely be the cool kid at work. They also make great gifts for the gal who has everything. Or how about getting the tulips as a Valentine’s gift for your sweetie?

What traditions did you continue this year? Did you start any new ones? What was the best dish you’ve eaten in the past week? Spill it!

It’s the time of year to be thinking about gifts for those you work with. Who will you be buying gifts for this year? Who is it appropriate to buy for, and who should you leave off your list? How much will you be spending?
I work in a small office, and I’ll be buying small gifts of holiday treats (cookies or cake) for my four coworkers and perhaps a nice bottle of wine for my boss. Since my office is so small (within a larger company), I have it easy. But I’m interested to hear how others will be maneuvering office gift-giving these holidays.

Halloween weekend has arrived! I for one am preparing for an outrageous, sugar-filled weekend. I’m also attending Jon Stewart’s Rally to Restore Sanity in DC on Saturday, so it’ll be action-packed.
I’m also excited because on Monday I’ll roll out a partnership between Jane Has A Job and a mystery brand. I’m confident this will be a surprising partnership for readers… but also awesome, as we have a great giveaway in store.
